A Legendary Portfolio
Nick Edgerson, under the moniker - Legendary Nedge - also referred to as “Legend”, is a rapper, singer/songwriter from the small town of Griffin, just south of Atlanta, GA. Growing up with a mother who owned a dance studio, Legend was groomed from a young age to be a performer. However, it became apparent early-on that Legend’s way forward was through his love of music when he began writing songs for the dance studio’s recitals.

The Full Story
Legend’s artistry developed from his over-all life experiences shining through in his lyrics, sometimes as soulful testimonies, as energetic dance invitations or sensual love ballads.Legend expresses that his music is a raw reflection of the reality we live in and strives to stay authentic to his quote that “I don’t want to be famous for the clout or for the fame, I want to be famous for the voice to make a change.” A significant motivation that drives Legend to put out music in various genres is to express that no matter your background or demographic, you can relate to his music in some way.
BEHIND THE MUSIC OF LEGEND
While in his second year as an audio production major at MTSU, Legend received the AGD Entertainment 0 to 60 Artist Development scholarship to help promote his sophomore EP project.
Not unlike an explosion of color experienced when you see a kaleidoscope, Legend’s diverse musical style arrives on the scene like an explosion of musical sounds inviting his audience to experience his connection with music that steps out of the traditional norms mixing hip hop, R&B, alternative and country music. It is no wonder that his upcoming sophomore EP entitled, Kaleidoscope takes the audience on a multifaceted musical ride.
